NROL is a group rehabilitation programme for individuals who have had a stroke or have other neurological conditions. ‘I had a structured timetable which gave me something to eagerly anticipate every week – socially, mentally and mentally.’ Bob thanked NHS staff for ‘the wonderful support’ and the continuous physiotherapy he received. <br>’ Working alongside nurses and seeing the distinction they made inspired me to believe, ‘I could do that!” Meet Sharon, a sexual health nurse and non-medical prescriber who began her nursing journey in 1985 at the Royal Liverpool Teaching Hospital. In 2010 she joined Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust and continues to serve clients in Hertfordshire. ‘I loved helping people and finding out about the body, so nursing simply felt right.’ Sharon shows. Sharon has actually operated in male infertility, menopause, miscarriage and colposcopy among others, showing the large variety of areas in which nurses make a distinction. ‘Truly, I can’t believe of a location where nurses don’t make an impact in some form,’ Sharon confesses.
